Big shout outs to the banquet team: Shane, Kennedy, Angela - thank you for all of your help day of. I plan these conferences every quarter and my directors were impressed with the location, I can see us coming back in the near future. You didn't have to use their in house AV system but if you need to save cost, AV was where I saved the most for events like this. Although AV could be updated, the price was so competitive, one couldn't complain. We had a group of 90 people that took up almost the entire event space and had about 34 guest rooms booked. I had a busy few weeks leading up to the event and we literally finalized everything within days of the event and not once did I ever feel pressured by the GERC team for answers they needed to pull my event off. I never confirmed if that was intentional or if it just happen to be something in the air that day. Everything was clean and the corridors of the conference centre had a jasmine aroma which made a very stressed event planner to be a lot more calm than normal. I saw all the meeting rooms, 2 hotel rooms, restaurants, casino. My first site visit, I met Jayme where he gave me a tour of the property. I recently had a 2 day conference with Grey Eagle Resort & Casino and from my first site visit to final day of event the team at GERC provided exceptional customer service. They also serve yogurt and food stuff for diabetics and health conscious clients. Aside from these, they have lots of cakes, pies, gelatine, cheese, mousse, cookies and a lot more to choose from. They also serve mini cream puffs and lady fingers for dipping. For dessert, I personally love the chocolate fountain! You can dip fruits like pineapple, cantaloupe, strawberries and honeydew. They have a wide array of choices: several varieties of lettuce, coleslaw, macaroni, potato, fruit salad and many more that come with a lot of dressings to choose from. My husband's favorite is the salad section. There is always carved meat everyday.They serve prime rib Fridays to Sundays carved ham or beef brisket on Mondays and Tuesdays Asian Buffet on Wednesdays and Seafood Buffet on Thursdays. They have great selections! The service is excellent.The staff are very attentive.

I would say that the Grey Eagle Buffet is one of the best buffets in Calgary.
